Really? That is what built America's global image?
Not in my opinion, by a long shot.
How about America's record of political and economic success?
I have read many accounts of the collapse of the USSR;
invariably the credit is given to America's political and economic success,
NOT to what the supreme bullshit artists at the New York Times claim
in the quote above.
